Trench art is a term first used during World War I. It was indicative of art or objects made of found objects by soldiers when they were not on the front lines. These Treasures were generally made from items such as shells, rocks, spent bullet casings, etc. Trench art was often sent home to family members and or sweethearts.

This particular box required quite a bit of time and artistry as it features a large Floral looking piece in the middle of each side. It is lined with dark blue felt.
