Description

What do you get when you combine the ideas of Old World craftsmanship, modern European design and state-of-the-art propulsion technology? You get a vessel like the Sessa C44. Here we have a boat that mixes just the right touches of livability, sociability and sportiness, accented with stylish Italian flair.

Livability starts belowdecks in the amidships master stateroom. The extra space afforded by the pod-drive installation allows for a king island berth, and copious natural light shines through the oversize windows with vented ports. The interior design calls out understated elegance, with nine subtle color accents. The en suite master head, with 6 feet 2 inches of headroom, has a separate shower accessed through an acrylic bifold door. The teak bench allows for a relaxing soak, and the slatted teak flooring ensures you’ll never stand in a puddle of water while rinsing off.

Forward, the salon features a galley with a stainless-steel counter, four-burner stove and large refrigerator. The dinette table is fiddled to keep your flatware from sliding around at sea, and converts to another sleeping area if needed. The salon shares a day-head with the forward guest stateroom. The day- head is similar in features to the master bath, but for a separate stand-up shower.

While the salon is more than suitable for serving up the main course, the sociability factor shines in the main cockpit, which features a teak entertainment center aft of the helm. It sports an acrylic counter, stainless-steel sink and ice maker. Owners have a choice of two layouts — either a double lounge with two teak cockpit tables that seats 12 total guests, or a single-lounge array featuring a sun island that extends aft of the hardtop. The sun island opens up, revealing a garage for the tender.
