On November 4, 2026, the City of Miami Beach proclaimed “The Advantaged 20th Anniversary Day,” recognizing The Advantaged Yacht Charters & Sales for two decades of contribution to the city’s waterfront community and marine economy. The proclamation was signed by Mayor Steven Meiner, Vice-Mayor Alex J. Fernandez, and Commissioners Tanya K. Bhatt, Laura Dominguez, Joseph Magazine, Monica Matteo Salinas, and David Suarez.

For all of us at The Advantaged, it is a humbling moment. Twenty years of charters, sales, and relationships on the water have been built alongside the clients, captains, crew, yacht owners, and partners who have trusted us, and this honor belongs to them, too.

Where Our Story Began

The Advantaged Yacht Charters & Sales was founded by Antonio Maldonado, who was later joined by Jessica Londono and Nancy Yanez as co-founders. Together, they guided the company from a startup to what the City of Miami Beach describes as “one of the Southeast’s most desirable luxury yacht charter companies.”

In the city’s words, what began as a dream has become “a lasting testament to Miami Beach’s vibrant waterfront community,” where The Advantaged continues to build opportunities, strengthen local industry, and contribute to the city’s history and future.

Rooted at Miami Beach Marina

Our charters depart from Miami Beach Marina, and the proclamation highlights that relationship directly. According to the city, through its longstanding partnership with Miami Beach Marina, The Advantaged has welcomed visitors from around the globe and showcased Miami Beach as a premier waterfront destination, serving tens of thousands of guests across its fleet of more than fifteen yachts.

Every departure is a chance to show someone this city from the water, and we never take that privilege for granted.

Recognizing the People Who Make It Possible

The proclamation states that The Advantaged has generated tens of millions of dollars in economic impact for the City of Miami Beach, supporting local captains, stewardesses, dock attendants, yacht owners, maintenance workers, restaurants, caterers, and small businesses integral to the marine industry.

We are especially glad the city named these people and businesses. A great day on the water depends on the skill of a captain, the care of a crew, the work of dock and maintenance teams, the trust of yacht owners, and the local restaurants and caterers who help make each occasion memorable. This recognition is shared with all of them.

Jessica Londono’s Service to Miami Beach

The city also recognized co-founder Jessica Londono for strengthening The Advantaged’s long-standing commitment to Miami Beach. As the proclamation notes, she has served on several City of Miami Beach boards, including Sister Cities, Animal Welfare, Human Rights, the Production Industry Council, and the Marine Authority Board, and continues her volunteer work and foster care efforts with Miami-Dade Animal Services.

Jessica’s civic service reflects something we value deeply: being part of this community, not only doing business in it.

With Gratitude

We extend our sincere thanks to Mayor Steven Meiner and the Miami Beach City Commission for this honor.

Thank you to Jessica Londono and Nancy Yanez, whose vision and dedication have helped shape this company. Thank you to our team, the captains, crew, and staff whose care and professionalism stand behind every experience we offer. And thank you to our clients, yacht owners, colleagues, and business partners. Whether you first stepped aboard with us years ago or are discovering The Advantaged today, you are part of this story.
